Our Oak Knoll Book Club meets monthly on the fourth Monday of each  month of the school year at 12:30-2:00 pm in the church library.  One of our members leads the book discussion and another brings goodies. We read a wide variety of books.  Though we've not completed our list for 2005-2006,  some of the books we have already chosen are:

Frank Lloyd Wright, by Ada Louise Huxtable(our September selection)

The Color of Water, by James McBride,

The Mermaid's Chair,  by Sue Monk Kidd,

The Other Twin,  by Katherine Stone,

The Confessions of an Economic Hit Man,  by John Perkins,  and

Under the Banner of Heaven,  by Jon Krakhauer.

These books are all available at Hennepin County Libraries. We invite anyone - young, old, members, non-members, to join us.  You will read some good books (and some you may not like), and, hopefully, enjoy the discussions about them.  If you have any questions please contact Marj Harn.
