Youth Ministry Team This group serves as the volunteer leadership staff for the youth director and is involved in hands-on ministry. They plan and implement fellowship and outreach events, service projects, retreats, and much more! If you are a part of this team, you will receive training, and have the opportunity to build relationships with youth and have a lasting impact on their lives!
Small Group Leaders A small group leader is anyone who will be prayerful, enthusiastic, relational, honest, encouraging, vulnerable and flexible while leading a group of four to eight youth in bible study and discussion on a weekly basis. You will receive training and materials and work directly with the youth director as an Ephphatha leader for elementary, junior high and senior high youth.
S.W.A.T. Team S.W.A.T. stands for Serving Willingly Although Temporarily. S.W.A.T. Team members help when they can by providing food, transportation, sports equipment, a place to have a pool party, and lots of prayers! What can you offer?
Other Volunteer Opportunities We are looking for adult role models for many events, including:
- Mentors who will be in one-on-one relationships with our youth, encouraging them in their journey with God;
- Chaperones for retreats, trips and camping;
- Prodigal People who will enthusiastically welcome all people to Ephphatha and make all people feel loved, safe and accepted;
- Nursery volunteers who will assist our Nursery Coordinator on Sunday mornings and Wednesday evening;
- Sunday School helpers who will work with our senior high youth as they teach our children.
These are just a few of the many opportunities to share your love and your gifts with our youth and families. If you are interested in sharing your gifts in one of these ways, please contact the church office at 952-546-5433.
