Come and visit the preschool at Oak Knoll Lutheran Church. You will hear the happy sounds of children learning and playing. This is what we are about. Oak Knoll Christian Preschool dedicates itself to providing a high quality Christ-centered early childhood program for children ages 33 months to kindergarten.
Our mission is to serve the families of the community with an affordable Christian-based preschool. Children are encouraged to learn through play, to grow spiritually, and to grow through creative expression, social interaction, intellectually development and physical activity.
The school is licensed by the Minnesota Department of Human Services which assures you that high standards have been met for staff, curriculum, equipment and space. Oak Knoll Preschool is licensed for 30 children per session.

Mayfest
Our end of the year Mayfest will be held Wednesday, May 14, 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. This is our end of the year party. Everyone from the church and all the preschool families are invited to attend.
Here is the schedule:
- 6:30 – the Preschool children will sing in the sanctuary
- 7:00 to 7:30 p.m. cake, pie, ice cream and beverages will be served in Fellowship Hall.
Thank you
We are about to finish four years of preschool here at Oak Knoll. What a fun experience it has been. Thirty beautiful children have been learning, growing and experiencing God’s love this past year. Thank you for your support, love and prayers for this important ministry at Oak Knoll Lutheran Church. We appreciate it.
May Fun
Our last month of preschool will be spent getting ready for Mayfest, enjoying all kinds of pets as they visit for pet week, and visiting Gale Woods for a wonderful farm field trip.
Our Enrichment class will have fun learning about “B” for black, brown, blue, butterflies, bees, bubbles, and the barnyard; and “C” for cats, cows, and caterpillars.
Our Children’s Chapel stories will include “The Good Samaritan,” “God Cares,” and “This Little Light of Mine.”
We have truly had a wonderful year.
Summer Fun
We are planning to have several fun learning experiences for preschool children at Oak Knoll during the summer months. There are two preschool classes that will meet during July and August.
- July 14-17, 9:30 to 12:00 noon - Preschool class – “Water all around “
- August 11-14, 9:30 to 12:00 noon - Preschool class – “Little Chefs”
Each class is for 3-5 year olds. Cost is $60.00 per child per class – payable by June 1st. If you know of some child who would be interested in this fun program, please let them know they can call Gloria Spon at 952-334-8200 to register.
